I've had enough. Enough partying to last me until Midsummer's.
Enough upset stomach, enough hangovers and enough pounds piling on.
The other day I took a test to see how many calories
one actually consumes through drink. The result was shocking.
I think I get almost 50% of my calorie intake from what I drink;
Vanilla Lattes, Coca Cola - and red, red wine... Calories I could be getting
from juicy sandwiches, creamy pasta dishes or chocolate fudge brownies.
Now, that just didn't sound good, even to my careless ears.
So I've made a decision, I'm cutting back. When Easter is over,
during the month of April, I will replace half of the Coke I drink with water
and I will only allow myself one glass of wine a day.
(But NO-ONE touches my Vanilla Latte! ;))
I've never hosted a party or an assignment before,
and I would never have imagined that the first one would have a healthy theme,
but since I'm doing this anyway I thought; Why not ask my fellow bloggers
if they'd like to join me in my Whiter and Lighter assignment for April?
Because everything gets easier with a little encouragement!
It doesn't have to be about addictive things like caffeine or alcohol for you.
This isn't even about dieting or losing weight (unless you want to).
This is only about doing a bit of Spring cleaning - inside or outside.
